At The Reading Circle, we bring books to life through year-round activities that spark imagination, strengthen literacy skills, and build lasting community connections. Whether in-person or online, our programming offers something for every age and reading level.
Each chapter hosts local meetups, book swaps, and reading celebrations. Community partnerships with schools, book stores, libraries, and businesses make these events truly special.
Reading Circles
Join virtual or in-person gatherings for thoughtful reading and discussion. Groups are tailored for children, teens, and adults, with themes that explore genres, cultures, and global authors.
Participate in fun and rewarding reading challenges! Win prizes for most books read, best reviews, creative writing, and more.
Meet authors, educators, and local heroes who share their favorite stories and offer behind-the-scenes insights during live or recorded sessions.
Develop literacy skills through hands-on workshops in storytelling, journaling, poetry, early childhood reading, and parent literacy support.
Tell Us Your Story is an open invitation for Reading Circle members of all ages to share their original stories — in their own words, their own way. Whether it’s a childhood memory, a fictional tale, a personal journey, or a poem from the heart, participants can present their stories virtually or in person during special showcase events. This intergenerational storytelling experience celebrates voice, creativity, and connection, reminding us that every story matters and every storyteller belongs.
A calming, creative activity that invites participants of all ages to explore the power of personal expression through writing. Guided prompts, themed sessions, and quiet reflection time help participants capture thoughts, feelings, memories, and dreams — turning blank pages into meaningful reflections. Whether you're new to journaling or a seasoned writer, this activity offers a safe and inspiring space to slow down, discover your inner voice, and celebrate the stories only you can tell.
All participants must become members to access full programming. For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian must complete the registration and sign a participation waiver.
