The Reading Circle
At The Reading Circle, we envision a world where literacy is accessible, celebrated, and cultivated across all ages and communities. As a not-for-profit organization, our mission is to inspire a lifelong love of reading and books among children, teenagers, and adults through inclusive, engaging, and dynamic literacy programming.
We are building a national network of Reading Circle chapters in every state, with plans to expand internationally, bringing people together through the transformative power of stories. Whether virtual or in-person, our year-round reading circles, programs, and activities will foster a deep appreciation for literature while strengthening reading skills and building community connections.
To support this vision:
- All participants become official members, ensuring a strong, committed community of readers.
- Parents must register and sign waivers for all participants under 18, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Each chapter will feature private member-only pages, while providing rich general content for non-members to engage and learn.
- Contests, challenges, and prizes will keep our programs exciting, motivational, and interactive.
- We will form lasting partnerships with schools, book stores, libraries, communities, and local businesses, creating a web of support for literacy advancement.
