How It Works:

• Monthly Book Selection: Each month, our two regional chapters—New Jersey in the Northern Region and Georgia in the Southern Region—will select a book for their members. The chosen books will be announced at the beginning of each month, starting with June’s selections.
   
• Family Reading Time: Families who sign up will commit to reading the selected book together, with at least one dedicated reading night each week. They can break down the book into manageable sections, ensuring the entire book is completed by the end of the month.
   
• Monthly Competitions: The following month, families will participate in fun, interactive games based on the previous month’s book. These include:
   
  • Jeopardy: Test your knowledge in a classic quiz format.
     
  • Bamboozle: Engage in a fun, interactive trivia challenge.
     
  • Family Feud: Compete in a family-style game show for added fun and bonding.
     
• Prizes and Rewards: The winning families from each region will receive exciting prizes, such as additional books, family dinners, and more. The top family from each region will then compete head-to-head for ultimate bragging rights and even more rewards!

The Teen Reading Circle is a dynamic monthly event created just for teens to explore powerful stories, spark meaningful conversations, and develop leadership skills—all while having fun.

• Monthly Book Selections: Each month, our Northern (New Jersey) and Southern (Georgia) Teen Chapters will choose a compelling, teen-centered book. Think contemporary fiction, social justice stories, young adult (YA) favorites, and diverse narratives that resonate.
   
• Independent & Group Reading: Teens will read the selected book independently or with a peer group. Discussion guides and reading prompts will be provided to deepen understanding and critical thinking.
   
• Virtual Meet-Ups All Month Long:
  Teens will have multiple opportunities to connect through secure, moderated virtual Reading Circle sessions on our designated platform. These safe, inclusive spaces will offer:
   
  • Mid-month check-ins for book progress and peer discussion
     
  • Themed breakout rooms (character debates, creative writing prompts, etc.)
     
  • Safe space chats for open expression and respectful conversation
     
• Monthly Live Event: At the end of each month, teens will gather virtually or in-person (chapter-based) to dive deeper into the book through:
   
  • Roundtable Discussions
     
  • Reader-Led Panels
     
  • Creative Expressions (poetry, art, or short film reflections)
     
• Leadership Opportunities: Teens will have the chance to serve as:

The Adult Reading Circle is a monthly literary experience curated to inspire meaningful dialogue, deepen understanding, and foster bonds among adult readers from diverse backgrounds.

• Monthly Book Selections: Each month, our Northern (New Jersey) and Southern (Georgia) Adult Chapters will select a thought-provoking book. Selections may include fiction, memoirs, social justice narratives, historical accounts, or culturally rich literature designed to spark real conversations.
   
• Flexible Reading Schedule: Members will follow a guided reading plan throughout the month, with weekly checkpoints and reflection prompts. Whether you read alone or with a friend, the goal is to engage deeply at your own pace.
   
• Weekly Virtual Meet-Ups:
  Adults will have the opportunity to connect regularly through safe, moderated virtual gatherings on our Reading Circle platform. These meet-ups offer:

The Monthly Chapter Book Swap is an exciting, community-driven event hosted by The Reading Circle that brings readers together across our Northern (New Jersey) and Southern (Georgia) chapters to share books, build relationships, and encourage literacy through generosity.

Whether you’re looking to clear space on your bookshelf or discover your next favorite read, this event is the perfect way to connect with fellow readers and keep books circulating in our community.

1. Collect & Contribute:
   Each month, participating members are invited to donate gently used or new books that fall within the month’s featured genres (e.g., mystery, YA, self-help, Black authors, historical fiction, children’s lit, etc.).
    
2. Chapter Collection Day:
   Bring your books to your chapter’s designated drop-off site or mail them in by the mid-month deadline. Local meetups may also include light refreshments and a mini social gathering!
    
3. Book Matching & Bundles:
   Our chapter volunteers will curate “swap bundles” based on members’ reading interests, ensuring every participant receives books they’ll be excited to read.
    
4. Swap Day Celebration:
   At the end of the month, join us for a virtual or in-person Swap Day Reveal, where we unbox our book bundles, share reactions, and discuss what we’re most excited to read next. There will also be raffles, literary icebreakers, and mini book talks!

1. Sign Up Online:Register at www.readingcircle.co and select the Monthly Book Swap tab. Indicate your region and reading preferences.  
2. Drop Off or Ship Your Books:Bring your books to the monthly drop-off location (provided after registration) or mail them to your chapter coordinator by the deadline.  
3. Get Matched & Receive Your Bundle:Our team will hand-match your preferences and package a bundle for you. You'll receive 2–3 books based on your selected genres.  
4. Join the Celebration:Attend the end-of-month Swap Day Reveal to unwrap your bundle, share your reactions, and connect with other swappers. Participation in the reveal event is encouraged but optional.

From epic shōnen adventures and romantic shōjo dramas to psychological thrillers and slice-of-life gems, our circle dives into it all!

• Monthly Manga Spotlight:
  Each month, we highlight one or two standout manga titles—one from each chapter (Northern NJ and Southern GA). Selections will vary by theme, genre, and audience age group (Teen & Adult tracks).
   
• Self-Paced Reading:
  Participants read at their own pace throughout the month, with optional reading checkpoints and chapter-specific prompts provided.
   
• Cultural Enrichment:
  Learn about the cultural context behind each story. We’ll include notes on Japanese customs, language quirks, and artistic styles that bring the world of manga to life.
   
• Virtual Manga Meet-Ups:
  Join our biweekly virtual manga circles hosted via our safe, teen-friendly Reading Circle platform. Activities include:
